Three Case Studies

Windpower is a preferred energy resource in Wisconsin, a result of legislation adopted in 1994 to increase the use of renewable energy resources statewide. In the energy priority list set forth in this legislation, (1993 Wisconsin Act 414), noncombustible renewable energy resources like windpower are awarded a higher ranking than every other resource save energy conservation and efficiency.
